This month was filled with school work and some fun activities.

Shared in Donor’s Birthday Celebration

One of our donors, Bill, visited the home to share his birthday with the kids. They had so much fun playing together, shared a delicious meal and cut cake together. We were all happy to share in such a beautiful celebration.

Baby Fanaka Transfer

Baby Fanaka was transferred from the nursery to the home. We held a celebration to commemorate this and welcome Baby Fanaka to House 6 at Thomas Barnados House. The kids were happy to have baby Fanaka on board.

Joint Managers/Mothers Meeting

The managers held a joint meeting, including all the house mothers. The meeting went well, and afterwards there was a party to celebrate and appreciate the house mothers for all they do to keep the houses efficiently running. They celebrated a joint birthday for the moms; together cut a delicious cake.

Mentorship at Suswa

The managers visited Suswa for mentorship sessions with the girls. It was a very interactive day where the girls got to share, interact and receive wisdom from the management team.

Clothes Drive at Nyayo Estate

We conducted a clothes drive at Nyayo Estate where the state residents got to donate clothes, food items, shoes and household items for the kids. The day was successful and we look forward to doing more drives in the future.
